Production Method
Smelters produce this pig iron by smelting iron ore in a blast furnace and then casting it into ingots. The controlled carbon and impurity levels ensure consistent mechanical properties and reliable performance in secondary steel and alloy manufacturing.
Quality and Compliance
Suppliers must notify DKL Metals of any process, raw material, or production changes that may affect the quality of the product. Any modification requires written approval from DKL Metals before supply.
Each shipment includes a full Certificate of Analysis, Material Safety Data Sheet, and all documentation required under CLP and REACH compliance.
Regulatory and Ethical Standards
All supplied material must be fully REACH-compliant for EU import regulations. DKL Metals ensures that all pig iron is conflict-free and sourced from responsible and ethical producers.
DKL Metals requires suppliers to comply with its Supplier Code of Conduct and Environmental Policy, ensuring they uphold ethical business practices and environmental responsibility throughout the supply chain.
