E-Qual LowSAC Type Y, also known as SAC0307, offers a cost-effective lead-free alternative to traditional tin/lead and high silver SAC alloys. It balances performance and economy for modern assembly.

This alloy suits most wave-soldering applications but may not fit all high-reliability mass production environments.

Compatible with various flux types including low solids, no-clean, and VOC-free formulations.

Recommended Operating Guidelines

Use E-Qual LowSAC Type Y solder in dynamic and turbulent wave solder systems at 265°C ± 5°C. Monitor bath composition regularly.

Manage copper build-up with LowSAC Type Ye copper-free top-up alloy. In some cases, partial draining and fresh alloy addition may be necessary.

Track bath contaminants easily with our free solder bath analysis programme, including trend graphs.

Manufacturing Control & Quality

All E-Qual LowSAC Type Y solders come from fully traceable virgin metal batches. Our Quality Management System is approved to BS EN ISO 9001 and Environmental Management System BS EN14001. We retain samples from every batch for at least two years.
