Celebrating 30 Years of Dedication: Kirsty Nolan Reaches Milestone Achievement
We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate an incredibly rare and significant milestone at DKL Metals. On the 5th of August, our Commercial Manager, Kirsty Nolan, officially marked 30 years of continuous service with the company.
Reaching three decades of dedication is a testament to loyalty, hard work, and a deep knowledge of our industry. Kirsty’s journey over the past 30 years mirrors the growth of DKL Metals itself. Her efforts have been central to our commercial success and long-standing client relationships.
With this achievement, Kirsty joins an elite group within the business. She becomes the third active employee in the company’s history to surpass the 30-year milestone. In an era where long-term career longevity at a single company is becoming increasingly rare, this achievement highlights the supportive, family-driven culture that defines our team.
A Journey Through DKL History
Kirsty started with the company in 1996 as an office assistant. She quickly set her sights on moving into the sales team—a personal goal she successfully achieved early in her career. From those early days, she has been an integral part of DKL Metals through its most transformative eras. She was there during our pioneering times when we successfully pushed to secure our ISO accreditations. This was a big moment for DKL Metals as it was ahead of the curve, setting a new benchmark for quality in the industry.
As she progressed through the sales department, she played a vital role in driving growth during our landmark partnership with Nihon Superior. This partnership established DKL Metals as the UK’s only licensed manufacturer of the patented SN100C lead-free solder brand. Her commercial expertise was equally vital when guiding our sales operations through the major transition of our official acquisition by Fenix Metals. Following two years of continued success post-acquisition, Kirsty’s exceptional leadership led to her promotion to Commercial Manager. This is the role in which she continues to steer our business development today.
