High Performance Bearing Alloy
DKL Metals R1-1 White Metal is a premium bearing alloy designed to withstand high loads and surface speeds. It is ideal for high-performance internal combustion engines as well as heavily loaded applications such as steam engines and mining equipment. R1-1 fully complies with the requirements of BS 3332:1987 Alloy B, offering reliable and durable bearing performance.

Usage Guidelines
- Stir melting pots during use to prevent copper crystal formation on the alloy surface.
- Cast within the temperature range of 390-410°C depending on pour size.
- Avoid overheating to maintain alloy performance and prevent quality issues.
- Rapid cooling enhances mechanical properties of the castings.
- Ensure adequate extraction, ventilation, and use appropriate PPE when handling molten metal.

Manufactured in the UK, R1-1 White Metal Bearing Alloy is available in 8kg ingots, 4kg feeders, or 1kg bars. All weights stated are approximate.
