LF2220NC Cored Solder Wire
Lead-Free, No-Clean Cored Wire for Rework
The LF2220NC Cored Solder Wire is a premium halide-free no-clean solder wire (REL0 classified) designed specifically for high-quality lead-free hand soldering and repair operations. Manufactured in partnership with Balver Zinn, its unique activation system ensures fast wetting on even difficult or oxidised surfaces, leaving minimal, clear, non-tacky residues.
Halide-Free & Low Corrosion (REL0)
This formulation meets the most stringent environmental and quality standards, classified as REL0 per J-STD-004 and EN 61190-1-1. It provides a guaranteed low corrosion risk, making it ideal for sensitive electronic assemblies.
Optimised for Rework & Hand Soldering
The activator system in the LF2220NC is perfectly balanced for manual rework and touch-up applications. It improves wetting and flow behaviour, even on boards that were previously soldered with tin/lead processes.
Wide Diameter Range & Flux Options
Available in a comprehensive range of diameters, from ultra-fine 0.35mm solder wire up to 3.5mm for heavier applications. Standard flux content is 2.2%, with a leaner 1.4% option also available upon request.
