Wellbore Sealing Alloys for Plugging & Abandonment (P&A)

We are a leading UK manufacturer of high-volume, premium Tin-Bismuth eutectic alloys. These alloys are engineered for permanent wellbore sealing and decommissioning. As part of the Fenix Metals group, we uniquely mass-produce these high-demand materials. We use 100% recycled metals directly from the Fenix facility in Poland. This provides oil and gas operators with an environmentally sustainable, low-carbon solution. It delivers a gas-tight alternative to traditional wellbore cement and prevents methane migration.

Impenetrable Metal-to-Metal Barriers

Conventional wellbore sealants suffer from micro-annular shrinkage. Unlike those materials, our bismuth-based alloys expand slightly upon cooling. This physical expansion forms an impenetrable, zero-permeability seal deep downhole. When molten, the liquid alloy features excellent fluid density. This allows it to seamlessly displace wellbore fluids. It easily penetrates narrow 25-micron spaces before solidifying.

Engineered for Extreme Environments

We precisely engineer our wellbore alloys to withstand severe downhole conditions. They are inherently resistant to extreme subterranean pressures and corrosive brines. They also easily resist sour gas or hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) environments. This durability ensures permanent zonal isolation for offshore and onshore campaigns.

Strict ISO 9001:2015 Quality Controls

We guarantee reliable batch consistency and full metallurgical traceability for every single order. We offer standard 58Bi/42Sn formulations and source premium raw materials. Additionally, our in-house laboratory can adjust specific alloy ratios. This allows us to perfectly match your specific bottom-hole temperature profiles and project specifications.
