This versatility matches your specific process requirements far beyond standard shelf offerings. If your production setup runs on precise thermal boundaries, you can use our digital tool to seamlessly translate target points across Celsius and Fahrenheit scales.
Collaborative Metallurgical Expertise
We actively collaborate with you to develop dynamic eutectic and non-eutectic configurations. Our technical solutions support critical manufacturing processes, including:
Precision Tooling & Workholding +
Ideal for optical lens grinding, tube bending matrices, foundry patterns, and precision press tools where minimal contraction during solidification is mandatory.
Safety Devices & Thermal Management +
Perfect for fire protection sprinklers, safety thermal fuses, and automated gas release valves that require rapid, predictable melting triggers.
Advanced Shielding Systems +
Engineered for high-density radiotherapy shielding blocks, allowing easy casting of specialised medical contours to safely block radiation paths.
Quality, Testing and Global Compliance
Each tailored batch is produced under strict quality control standards to ensure consistent performance, global compliance, and exceptional component reliability. Our in-house laboratory rigorously tests the exact metallurgical composition of every melt, ensuring your technical specifications remain at their absolute peak performance parameters.

Fusible Alloys Technical FAQ
What is the minimum order quantity for custom fusible alloy formulations? +
Our standard Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for bespoke fusible alloys is 20kg. However, we understand the complexities of custom engineering, so we can support lower volumes for preliminary test batches, and can occasionally accommodate requirements as low as 10kg under specific technical circumstances. Contact our laboratory to discuss your scope.
Can you manufacture non-toxic lead-free low melting point alloys? +
Yes. We regularly formulate eco-friendly, lead-free, and cadmium-free alternatives utilising high-purity bismuth-tin and indium matrix combinations. These specialized non-toxic blends are specifically engineered for applications with strict environmental limits, such as medical lens blocking, food-safe processing equipment, and aerospace workholding elements.
How do you control volumetric expansion and contraction during solidification? +
Our laboratory controls dimensional changes by precisely tweaking the percentage of bismuth in the custom matrix. Blends containing more than 55% bismuth expand when cooling, while lower concentrations shrink; our in-house metallurgical testing allows us to achieve zero net dimensional change (perfectly eutectic behaviour) for delicate press tools and safety device casting applications.
